Growing up in Los Angeles as a Latino, I watched my city transform through countless neighbors - each carrying dreams and stories that shaped our neighborhoods. Most apartment sites tell you square footage and rent, but they don't tell you about the abuela making the best tamales on the block or the family hardware store serving the community for thirty years.
This year, watching LA face immigration raids and devastating fires, I was reminded that our city is strongest when we stand together as neighbors. I saw communities rally around each other and small businesses open their doors to help.
That's why Vecino exists. We're not just helping you find an apartment - we're helping you find your place in LA's beautiful tapestry. We spotlight the incredible small businesses that are the heartbeat of our neighborhoods, and we're committed to giving back 10% of everything we make to support legal defense for our immigrant neighbors and help rebuild our local community.
